  • What makes Klae different?
    Klae is more than a studio, it’s a curated space for purposeful movement, recovery, and connection. With a highly skilled team, a small-group approach, and a seamless blend of movement and recovery practices, we offer a truly personalised and empowering experience.

  • Do you have any introductory offers? 
    Yes, see our Welcome Experiences hereOur introductory offers are for first-time users only and can’t be paused or extended, so make the most of them while they’re active.
  • Where is Klae located?
    We are located at 1/14 Lambert Avenue, Newtown 3220.  

  • Is there parking available?
    Yes, there is free parking on site. For peak times, there is also street parking that requires a short walk up our inclining driveway.
  • Are there showers at Klae?
    Yes, there is one shower available on-site at Klae, complete with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience. More showers will be introduced as part of our upcoming stage two bathhouse expansion.
  • Can I see a Physiotherapist at Klae?
    Yes. Klae is home to qualified, experienced physiotherapists who offer one-on-one consultations and personalised treatment plans.
  • What can I use the lounge for?
    Our lounge is a calm space to relax, catch up on emails, connect with other members, as well as access compression and LED therapy. It’s designed to be a comfortable extension of your Klae experience as a place to recharge both body and mind.
  • How much is a membership at Klae?

  • If I am on a membership, what is considered a “session”?
    A session includes any of the following;

    • Any group class in Studio One or Two
  • Do I need to book in advance?
    Yes, bookings are essential to secure your spot. You can reserve your place through our website or app.

  • Can I freeze or cancel my membership?
    Memberships require a minimum commitment of 12 weeks. After this period, you’re free to cancel at any time. You also have the option to pause your membership for up to four weeks per year, provided you give 72 hours’ notice via email. Cancellations require 2 weeks written notice via email.
  • What are your late cancellations and no show policies?

    For Movement Sessions: For late Cancellations, within 6 hours your session is forfeited. For No-shows your session is forfeited plus a $15 fee.

    For Appointments: Late cancellations within 6 hours 50% charge of the appointment fee. For No-shows 100% charge of the appointment fee.

    Where applicable, fees will be processed using your saved payment method.

  • Are there discounts for local groups or corporates?

  • Do I need to have an injury to join Clinical Movement?
    No. Clinical Movement can support people managing pain or recovering from injury, as well as those looking to build strength, mobility and physical capacity with Physiotherapist guidance.
  • Is Clinical Movement the same as Clinical Pilates?
    No. Clinical Pilates is one part of the Clinical Movement program. Depending on your needs, your pathway may include Clinical Pilates, Clinical Strength, Physiotherapy or a combination of approaches.
  • Do I need to be fit to start?
    Not at all. Your program begins at your current level of strength, mobility and confidence and progresses from there.
  • What happens if Clinical Movement isn’t right for me?
    Your Initial Clinical Assessment is designed to determine the most appropriate next step. If another form of care would better suit your needs, your Physiotherapist will discuss this with you.
  • Can I move from Clinical Movement into regular Klae classes?
    Yes. For many people, the longer-term goal is to build enough strength, confidence and independence to transition into Klae’s broader movement offering. Your Physiotherapist will help determine when that transition is appropriate.
  • Can I claim Clinical Movement through private health insurance?
    Eligible Physiotherapy services may be claimable depending on your insurer and level of cover. Please check with your provider before your appointment.
  • Do I need to be fit or experienced to attend a session at Klae?
    Klae welcomes all levels. Whether you’re new to movement or looking to refine an existing practice, our practitioners and coaches are here to meet you where you are.

  • What should I bring?
    • For movement classes, wear comfortable activewear and bring a water bottle.
    • In Studio One, flat training shoes are ideal, though many sessions are best experienced barefoot to support balance and body awareness.
    • Grip socks are required for all Reformer and Clinical Pilates classes. We have some available at reception if needed.
  • In Studio One, What’s the difference between Sculpt, Restore, and Thrive?
    • Sculpt is designed to build strength and control through intentional, technique-driven movement.
    • Restore is a slower-paced, grounding class combining mobility, yin, breathwork, and restorative movement to support recovery and calm the nervous system.
    • Thrive is a high-energy class designed to challenge your full-body power, coordination, and endurance.
  • How do I know which class style is best for me?
    Many members find benefit in a weekly blend of balancing strength-building (Sculpt), dynamic conditioning (Thrive), and recovery-oriented movement (Restore). If you’re not sure where to start, speak to one of our passionate team members who will help guide you.

  • Can I do Reformer if I’m new to Pilates?
    Yes. Our Sculpt Reformer classes are an ideal place to begin. They’re designed to help you build strength, control, and body awareness, with clear, intentional guidance every step of the way. You’ll be supported in learning the fundamentals while still experiencing the satisfying challenge Reformer is known for.
  • What’s the difference between Reformer Pilates and Clinical Pilates?
    Reformer Pilates A group experience led by expert instructors, with each session thoughtfully varied to keep your practice engaging and balanced.
    Clinical Pilates requires you to have an initial assessment with a Physiotherapist and one-on-one sessions to develop a personalised program.
  • Do I need a referral for Clinical Pilates?No referral is needed. Your journey begins with an Initial Clinical Assessment, followed by a series of one-on-one sessions to design your personalised program.
  • How does compression therapy work?
    Compression therapy uses rhythmic air pressure to improve circulation, reduce muscle soreness, and support lymphatic drainage. It’s a simple, effective way to accelerate recovery and relieve fatigue.
  • What is LED Red Light therapy used for?
    LED light therapy uses low-level wavelengths to promote cellular repair, reduce inflammation, and improve skin tone. It’s a non-invasive way to support healing and enhance skin health.
  • How long are the compression and LED Red Light therapy sessions?
    Each session is completed within 30 minutes. Speak to our team for personalised recommendations based on goals.
